Matte Watch – Weekly Photo Contest

Mark your calendar for weekly contests starting July 2009 and continuing each week with a new contest. That is the month when we will launch a new series of photo contests that give you chances to win prizes on weekly, monthly, and even yearly photo contest levels. Monthly and yearly winners will be chosen from our weekly contest winners, as participation increases. Our kick off theme will be scenery photos. Enter by submitting your favorite photo of local vistas in our weekly photography contests. Your picture must be in .JPG format, under 4mb each in file size, and given a unique name to avoid being overwritten by other participants. Use the following URL to enter your photo of the week:
After successfully uploading your photo, send an email to the email address on the picture mat site and give us details on the file name of your picture, information on where and when your picture was taken, and state your desire to enter the weekly contest. PLEASE DO NOT send pictures attached to your email correspondence. We will select the winners every Saturday. Participants will be notified about winning via email, with prizes posted on the site to be downloaded by the victorious photographers. Any prize winners who do not wish to allow their prizes to remain posted on the Matte Watch site may request that we remove the posting after prizes have been downloaded by the winners. We reserve the right to disqualify any contest entries due to inappropriate content or any other reason.
The weekly awards will acknowledge winning photos by including participant name, date won, location information, and the prize winning photo. When winning prizes are posted on our site, we may also announce a change to the photo theme for an upcoming week. New contest themes will be announced each Saturday.In addition to receiving awards, the top three winners will also be automatically entered to compete for prizes in the monthly contest level. Lack of participation at any contest level may lead to prizes at that level not being awarded, but lower participation increases your chances for winning.
